Motion Detect Setup

Go to the Motion Detect Screen From Main Menu > Settings > Detect

Ensure that the proper channel is selected for which you wish to enable Motion Detection.

Check the 'Enable' Box under Event Type : Motion Detect

Select Record Channel, and which channels to record Motion Detect.

If you need to mask out certain areas, like streetlamps or tree branches that are constantly moving, click 'Region' under the 'Enable' box and you will be brought to this screen:

Click and drag where you would like to mask out motion detect. NOTE: It will still record these areas when motion is activated, it just will not TRIGGER motion detection.

Then go to the 'Period' Screen :

Set your schedule for when you'd like motion recording to be active.

Go back to the main screen, and right click > Record:

For any channels that you want MOTION DETECTION on set them to schedule
